Each of the kitchen knives have been manufactured from hardwearing stainless steel, and their blades have been cooled in liquid nitrogen which makes them both stronger, and able to hold their sharp edges for longer.

The knives each register a 52 hardness on the HRC rating scale, which makes them great knives for home cooks in terms of performance capabilities, but the soft steel is also nice and easy to sharpen when the time comes to do so.
Each of the five individual knives will need to be washed by hand before their first use, and then again by hand after each subsequent use. For added longevity we recommend that the knives never be used on a glass surface, as this can lead to the premature blunting or softening of the blades.
